Helping Welsh business access expertise
The innovation vouchers from the Welsh Assembly Government can inject up to £20,000 into your business over a 12 month period.
The vouchers are available to help business access external expertise to solve problems and boost innovation. Each voucher
and can assist with up to 50% of funding towards solving a technical problem, test a new product or even improving a product or processes.
The scheme can been used by companies based anywhere in Wales and unlike the scheme in England, Vouchers of up to £10,000 can procure expertise from the private sector as well as universities and colleges. Additionally, up to £5,000 are available to SMEs to invest in research at universities within the region where the businesses are.
Inventorium will encourage and support the new ideas and work with the Welsh Assembly Government who support the Research & Development. The European funded convergence programme will create a culture of innovation and diversify the economic base by growing more technology firms and improve their links to the knowledge base.

Hacio’r Iaith – Language hacks
Fel rhan o’r penwythnos Gwyl Arall yng Nghaernarfon bydd yna sesiwn Hacio’r Iaith Bach yn cael ei gynnal ar y prynhawn Sadwrn, er mwyn rhoid cyfle i gîcs y Gogs ddod at eu gilydd am sgwrs a pheint. Lleoliad yr Haciaith fydd Tafarn y Castell, ar y Maes, rhwng 3pm-5pm. Bydd WiFi ar gael Gorff 24ed.
As part of the Alternative Festival in Cearnarfon there will be a session for Welsh speaking hackers on Saturday afternoon. An opportunity for Gogs to get together for a chat and a pint. The event will be at the Castle on the Maes between 3 and 5 pm . Wifi available.
