This was the second in a series of Mobile App Idea Generation Workshops that took place in 2010. The aim of the workshops was to give entrepreneurs a taste of what the apps market is like by talking to experienced Apple iOS and Android developers.
The workshop opened with an ice-breaking game ‘Conversation Cascade’, which allowed people to informally introduce themselves and discuss their work.
This was followed by keynotes from Dermot Daly, CEO, Tapadoo and Darren Morris, Interaction Designer and founder of App Bits.
Teams worked on developing app ideas and creating a short advert to illustrate their customer needs and the solution their app provided. These were then presented to the room.
