Mobile Apps Workshop, Wexford

This was the third in a series of Mobile App Idea Generation Workshops that took place in 2010. The aim of the workshops was to give entrepreneurs a taste of what the apps market is like by talking to experienced Apple iOS and Android developers.
On the first day, the keynote presentations were given by Richard Rodger, CTO FeedHenry Ltd and Shane McAllister, Founder MobaNode, the aim of these talks was to stimulate the audience to come up with mobile app ideas that provide solutions to problems.
On the second day the idea generation exercises focused on getting participates to generate as many ideas as possible using the Inventorium’s poker card game, selecting a subset of those ideas and developing posters, critiquing the ideas and developing short pitch presentations from which idea teams could be further developed.
The intended outcome of the workshop is for potential commercial ideas to go to the next level of development in the Inventorium process.
